Man wanted for Wawa robberies in Frankford, Mayfair

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are looking for a man who robbed two Wawas in one week.

The first robbery was on Thursday, Sept. 8, in Frankford. Police say he entered the store at 4506 Castor Avenue around 11 p.m. and pulled a handgun, demanding money. He took off with about $250, police say.

Later that week, on Sunday, Sept. 11, the same man robbed aother Wawa in Mayfair. He pulled a gun in the store at 7001 Roosevelt Blvd. around 5 a.m., again demanding money, and then took off with about $200.

Wawa is offering a $5,000 rewared for any information leading to his arrest and conviction.
