PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A Philadelphia man has been sentenced to 6 to 12 years in state prison for the repeated sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl in Quakertown.
Rodney Bass, 36, pleaded guilty in September to statutory sexual assault and involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person under 16 years old.
The investigation began on Sept. 19, 2024 and authorities determined that Bass was the boyfriend of the victim's mother.
They said the assaults began when the girl was 14 years old and continued for more than a year.
In addition to the prison sentence, Bass will serve 28 years probation and remain a registered sex offender for the rest of his life.
