PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A speeding driver crashed into several cars, including two police vehicles, in Olney early Friday morning.

It happened around 5:15 a.m. on North Fifth Street, near West Rockland Street.

Authorities said the driver of a 2015 Toyota was speeding when she crashed into a 2015 Ford Fiesta. Both cars sustained severe damage.

The force caused the Ford Fiesta to then crash into a parked car and two police cars. One police car had minor damage, and at least one officer was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

Police said the driver of the Toyota may have been fleeing the scene of another crash. The woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition. A passenger who was in her car was listed in stable condition.

Police did not share the condition of the driver of the Ford Fiesta.

An investigation is ongoing.
