Police asking public to help identify the suspects

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspects who fired more than 60 shots at people on a basketball court in West Philadelphia last month.

On March 21 around 10:15 p.m., authorities say several armed people approach the court at West Mill Creek Playground, and at least three of them fired their weapons.

Video shows basketball players scattering away from the scene. There were no reported injuries.

Police are hoping to locate a white SUV, possibly an Infiniti JX35, leaving the scene.

Anyone with information on the shooting or the suspects is asked to call or text the Philadelphia Police Department at 215-686-8477 or leave an anonymous tip online.
