PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Police are investigating after flyers promoting racist and antisemitic propaganda were found around Ridley Township, Delaware County.

The flyers were distributed in the Swarthmorewood neighborhood on Sunday, the Ridley Township Police Department shared on its Facebook page.

The phrase “Stand Up White Man” was printed on one of them, with a link to a website called “White Lives Matter.”

Delaware County Council said it is “appalled and denounces any type of racist and hateful literature or acts in our community. Actions that spread hate, incite violence, or intimidate people are not acceptable and will not be tolerated.”

The Delaware County District Attorney’s Office and the Ridley Township Police Department are actively investigating.

Police are asking people to check their surveillance cameras to see if they have footage of who delivered the handouts. Anyone with additional information is asked to call the police department at 610-532-4000 or the Delaware County Criminal Investigation Division at 610-891-4170.
