PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro is telling Taylor Swift fans to “shake it off and try again.”

The Pa. governor-elect tweeted that the Attorney General's Office is working directly with Ticketmaster to ensure that Swift fans will have another opportunity to purchase tickets for her upcoming Eras Tour.

There was "bad blood" in November when fans with a special presale code complained of waiting in an online queue for hours before being kicked off the Ticketmaster website without an opportunity to complete the sale.

According to Ticketmaster, millions of users swarmed the presale, crashing the site and causing them to cancel that week’s general public sale.

The company said a record two million tickets were sold during the presale, the most sold on Ticketmaster in a single day. However, they claimed there wasn’t enough inventory afterward to meet demand.

Shapiro said, “Emails will be sent to pre-sale registered fans for the Pittsburgh and Philadelphia shows in the coming days.”
