PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police say they have an arrest warrant for the people believed to be involved in the shooting and killing of an on-duty sanitation worker last month in the city’s Mayfair section.

Nushar J. Scott, 39, and Rasheem Trusty, 30, are wanted for the shooting of Ikeem Johnson, 35, around 10:33 a.m. on the 3300 block of Tudor Street at Rowland Avenue, near Lincoln High School on Nov. 18.

Police say Johnson was traveling southbound in a sanitation truck when one of the men, dressed in a dark blue jacket over a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black athletic shoes and a black mask approached the passenger side of the truck, causing the vehicle to stop.

Johnson immediately exited the vehicle, and one of the men shot him multiple times, immediately fleeing the scene in what police described as a 2015 to 2019 Subaru Outback, dark in color with a roof rack, tinted windows and an unknown Pennsylvania license plate.

Police ask that you contact their Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334 if you have any information about this.

A $20,000 reward has been offered for information leading to a conviction in the case.
