
PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two men left a dying gunshot victim with police and fled Sunday night in Southwest Philadelphia.
It happened around 6:15 p.m. near 57th Street and Springfield Avenue.
Police pulled over a speeding Nissan. When the driver and passenger got out, officers checked the car and found a man in the back seat with a gunshot wound to his right shoulder.
While the officers were moving the victim to their cruiser, the two men jumped back into the Nissan and drove away.
The cops took the victim to the hospital, where he later died. He has not been identified.
Investigators don’t know where he was shot. No arrests have been made.
