SOUTH JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A third person has died from the mass shooting at a birthday party in Cumberland County, New Jersey, over the weekend, and authorities made another arrest in the case.

New Jersey State Police say 19-year-old Braylin Holmes of Bridgeton died from injuries sustained on Saturday night, when 14 people were shot at a birthday party in Fairfield Township. A 30-year-old man and a 25-year-old woman were two victims previously confirmed deceased.

Police also say that, as a result of the investigation, 30-year-old Darrell Dawkins of Bridgeton has been charged with unlawful possession of a handgun. Investigators say that the evidence at this time doesn't show that Dawkins is a suspected shooter.

Kevin Dawkins, 36, of Bridgeton was arrested Monday on charges including unlawful possession of a handgun, possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose, possession of a high-capacity magazine, and certain persons not to possess weapons.

New Jersey State Police continue to encourage anyone with information about the shooting to call them at 856-451-0101 or share a tip online.
