Triple shooting kills 1 adult, injures 2 teens

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two teenagers are hospitalized and an adult is dead after a triple shooting Friday.

Philadelphia police say it happened shortly before 9 p.m. at 56th Street and Baltimore Avenue in the city's Angora neighborhood.

One 17-year-old boy was shot in the right shoulder while a 16-year-old boy was shot twice in the thigh and twice in the back of the head. A 21-year-old man, identified by police as Michael Goodwin of Kingsessing, was shot multiple times throughout the body.

The three victims were rushed to a hospital, where Goodwin was pronounced dead. The 17-year-old was said to be in extremely critical condition while the 16-year-old was listed as stable.

No weapons were found, and police are still looking for a suspect.
