2 teen brothers charged in Bucks County stabbing death

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Two teenage brothers from northern New Jersey are accused of fatally stabbing a man several times in Bucks County.

Officials say Pennsylvania state troopers on patrol near East Pumping Station Road and Heller Road in Richland Township just after midnight Thursday came across what appeared to be a disabled Subaru with New Jersey plates, which investigators say was registered to one of the brothers. The vehicle's blinkers were activated.

An Audi with Florida plates was nearby. According to authorities, the Audi was a rental car.

Authorities say a man with multiple stab wounds was found dead Thursday. He was later identified as 26-year-old Kevin Rosero of Somerset, New Jersey.

Two brothers from Somerset were arrested at the scene: Joshua Gamble, a 17-year-old who is being charged as an adult, and Anthony Gamble, 19. They have been charged with murder, conspiracy and related offenses.

“A large knife was found on the passenger side of the Audi," said Bucks County District Attorney Matt Weintraub. "The knife had blood on the blade as well as its wooden handle. Both Gamble brothers, both cars and the victim and the knife were all found within 100 feet of each other. The police found a cellphone and sanitizing wipes on the roof of the Audi, which were collected as evidence obviously, and a second cellphone found inside that vehicle.”

According to Weintraub, investigators discovered Joshua Gamble had bought the wipes and two sets of work gloves at a 7-Eleven store very close to the crime scene. He said the purchase happened 20 minutes before authorities came to the scene.

"It is very difficult to kill somebody with a knife and it is often an intimate crime. You have to be within an arm's length to kill somebody with a knife and to stab somebody more than once. We will be arguing that that is evidence of specific intent to kill," said Weintraub.
