West Philly double shooting injures 1-year-old boy

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A one-year-old boy was injured in a double shooting in West Philadelphia Saturday night.

Police said the incident happened near 50th Street and Haverford Avenue around 8 p.m.

The child was shot in his left leg. A 26-year-old man was also shot in the left arm, according to police.

The boy was taken to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, while the adult victim was transported in a private vehicle to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. Both are listed in stable condition.

No arrests have been made and a weapon has yet to be recovered.
