PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — A woman was beaten unconscious by a group of at least eight people just a block away from City Hall last month. Police released new surveillance images in the hopes of trying to identify her attackers.

The assault happened around 7:15 p.m. on Feb. 23.

A 33-year-old woman was at 15th and Chestnut streets when a group of young people approached her and knocked her to the ground.

They punched and stomped on her until she was unconscious. She was taken to the hospital with injuries to her head, face and body.

Three of the attackers were on bikes.
