What does one of the most powerful men in the world get his wife for Christmas?
If the man in question is President Joe Biden, the answer is the continuation of a sweet holiday tradition.
Biden said in a new interview that every year, he gifts his wife Jill a handwritten poem.
When asked if he creates the poem himself, he replied, “Of course I do. I have a lot to write about.”
Biden also made it clear that the poem isn’t all the First Lady gets under the tree. There’s also something storebought to be opened, conceding that the poem alone “doesn’t quite do it.”
“I really enjoy shopping for Jill for gifts,” Biden added, intimating that he feels “very good” about this year’s Christmas present for his wife.
