Southwest Airlines is under fire after a video of a pilot concluding an announcement to the flight's passengers by saying "Let's go Brandon" over the plane's intercom system went viral.

The video, posted to TikTok, was of a Friday morning Southwest Airlines flight from Houston to Albuquerque, according to the Associated Press.

The phrase "Let's go Brandon" is being used as an anti-Joe Biden call sign after a reporter, interviewing racer Brandon Brown, said that a Nascar crowd was chanting the phrase when they were actually saying "F--- Joe Biden."

Many took to social media to share their displeasure with the pilot's actions.

One user, however, called attention to the situation by tweeting disgust over the pilot saying the phrase along with a video of actors and actresses cheering when Robert DeNiro said "F--- Trump" at an awards show.

Southwest Airlines said in a statement to Fox News that the airline "takes pride in providing a welcoming, comfortable, and respectful environment for the millions of customers who fly with the airline each year and behavior from any individual that is divisive or offensive will not be tolerated."
