The long awaited new single "Attention" finally dropped and she did not disappoint. Aside from the bars she dropped, "Talkin' 'bout 'she fallin' off, why she get booked?'/ Man, I been humble, I'm tired of all the deprecation/ Just let me flex, bruh, just let me pop s***," the video was even more mesmerizing.
From the euphoric scenes of her prancing under water to her mobbing down the street in a trench coat, your eyes are sure to be glued to the screen the entire time.
The "Say So" rapper revealed the artwork to her latest single just a day after the pre-save link leaked early.
Captioned "6.16.23" followed by a red drop emoji, the artwork is giving the girls provocative as it seems to be a upside down "A" written in red ink (or maybe even blood). It kind of has The Scarlet Letter undertones, the novel written by Nathaniel Hawthorne where the main character was forced to wear a red "A" as punishment for having a child with a man that she was not married to.
And knowing Doja Cat, we believe it's safe to assume that the cover artwork was super intentional as there has been speculation on her next album being titled Scarlet.
Her much awaited fourth album is hopefully coming soon as she has taken fans on a rollercoaster ride about release dates, titles, genres and all. But after this new single, we can only hope that the album is soon to follow.
