Following up his last solo album, 2022’s Honestly Nevermind, For All The Dogs features 23 tracks, all of which are kinda boppy in their own way, and as Drizzy said early on, do give slight whispers of old Drake vibes — kinda.
Starting with opener “Virginia Beach” (which I will delulu continue thinking is because that’s my hometown and not alluding to Pusha T), the album goes on to feature appearances from Bad Bunny on the Spanglish reggaeton heat of “Gentle,” 21 Savage, Teezo Touchdown, J. Cole, Yeat, SZA and Sexxy Red giving Baltimore club vibes on “Rich Baby Daddy.” Plus PARTYNEXTDOOR, Chief Keef, Lil Yachty and a special contribution from his son, Adonis. But sadly, no Nicki Minaj.
On the Thursday ahead of it’s release, Drake called the new album “one of my best ever.” And then after it's release, revealed he'd be taking a step back from making new music for "maybe a year or somethin'" to "focus on my health." Check out the mixed reviews of what the masses had say about Drake's bold claim, as well as what the internet thinks about his hiatus -- all below. And then of course, go check out the album for yourself.
