Available today — exactly 9 years after the original album’s debut — 1989 (Taylor’s Version), is the fourth re-release of six that Taylor Swift has planned in an effort to regain artistic control of her music. It features the original 13 tracks plus five never-before-heard songs that didn’t make the original album, and according to Swift, they are “so insane.”

“To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane,” she wrote on social media. “I can’t believe they were ever left behind.”

Today is the day fans finally get to experience those tracks titled "Now That We Don't Talk," "Say Don't Go,” "Suburban Legends, “Slut!” and “Is It Over Now?” And according to their reactions, the songs are living up to the hype.

The original 1989 album officially marked Taylor’s departure from the Country genre taking her music to new fans, heights, and officially launching her incredibly loyal Swiftie kingdom.

"I was born in 1989, reinvented for the first time in 2014, and a part of me was reclaimed in 2023 with the release of this album I love so dearly," Taylor wrote to fans. "Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine the magic you would sprinkle on my life for so long."

She continued, “This moment is a reflection of the woods we've wandered through and all this love between us still glowing in the darkest dark. I present to you, with gratitude and wild wonder, my version of 1989. It's been waiting for you."
