The Dallas Cowboys are a talented team, but they make things a little more difficult on themselves than needed.
That came back to bite them Sunday.

Dak Prescott and the Cowboys lost to the Packers at Lambeau Field in overtime. The Cowboys had their chances, they led 28-14 going into the fourth quarter, but mistakes, communication breakdowns, and penalties sank them.
Those issues are becoming a little too prevalent, prompting 105.3 The Fan’s Bryan Broaddus to call out the team’s inability to help itself on the “Love of the Star” podcast.
“This team hates prosperity, it just hates it," Broaddus said. "It hates anything they get a little bit of an advantage from. They hate having a lead, they hate having the ability to drive the football, they hate these things, they want to make things as difficult as possible for themselves.
“Coming back from penalties, the grounding penalty and stuff, they came back from that. There’s things that they’ve come back from, but they just can’t help themselves.”
The Cowboys are in a loaded division, one where the little gaffes here and there could add up and keep them from winning the NFC East.
In the near term, the Cowboys undoubtedly will be working on buttoning up those issues ahead of their matchup this weekend with the 8-1 Vikings.
