As Yogi Berra said, "It's deja vu all over again!"
Nationals shortstop
Trea Turner hit for the cycle for the second time in his career Tuesday night in Washington's 11-1 win over the Rockies.
The first time he achieved the feat? Two years ago...against the Rockies.

July 24, 2019 Per Elias Sports Bureau, Turner is just the third player in MLB history to hit for the cycle twice against the same team. In fact, Turner is just the 26th player to hit for the cycle more than once, and now owns half the cycles in Nationals history, Brad Wilkerson and Cristian Guzman the only other Washington players to do it.
"It's a weird, cool thing, because last night I was talking to my wife about it and how lucky you have to be to get all four hits," Turner told
Grant & Danny Wednesday. "You have to hit the ball in the right spot, you can't hit two doubles, two singles, two triples, whatever it may be."
"You have to hit one of each, so I think it's more of a luck thing. But at the same time, it's pretty cool to be mentioned with some of those guys."
"I feel like I've been hitting the ball pretty good the last week, I just haven't had too many of them fall in," Turner continued. "I felt like I lined out quite a bit on the road trip."
"I think I made a good adjustment maybe four or five days ago to start hitting the ball a little bit harder on the barrel. I think last night was a product of that. Put together some good at-bats, and got some luck along the way as well."
"I feel good in the box, and hopefully we can extend it through the series and beyond."
