Nats announce Wild Card roster vs. Brewers

The Washington Nationals have announced their 25-man roster for Tuesday night's win-or-go-home Wild Card Game vs. the Milwaukee Brewers.

The big news: relief pitcher Wander Suero was left off the roster the game and a third catcher Rudy Read was added. Washington elected to go with nine pitchers are 16 positon players. If the Nats win, they can make changes before playing in the NLDS against the Los Angeles Dodgers
Pitchers: Max Scherzer, Stephen Strasburg, Patrick Corbin, Aníbal Sánchez, Fernando Rodney, Tanner Rainey, Hunter Strickland, Daniel Hudson, Sean Doolittle
Catchers: Kurt Suzuki, Yan Gomes, Rudy Read
Infielders: Anthony Rendon, Trea Turner, Asdrúbal Cabrera, Howie Kendrick, Ryan Zimmerman, Matt Adams, Brian Dozier
Outfielders: Juan Soto, Victor Robles, Adam Eaton, Michael A. Taylor, Andrew Stevenson, Gerardo Parra

The Brewers announced their 25-man roster and outfielder Lorenzo Cain, who was a doubt with an injury, was named. Milwaukee opted to keep 10 pitchers and 15 position players.
