Life-long Wizards fan Danny Rouhier didn't expect Washington to land the No. 1 overall pick and Zion Williamson in Tuesday night's NBA Draft Lottery. But given the odds, he expected them to at least snag a top-six pick.
"I need everyone to understand: there was
a 96 percent chance that that wouldn't happen," Rouhier said Tuesday. "96 percent chance that what occurred would not occur, casually happened."
The Wizards had a 96% chance of not picking 9 or 10. I hate everything

May 15, 2019 "Just a devastating death blow to a franchise that needed something good to happen. Gone. Hope: gone, eradicated, dead, shot in the foot, destroyed, everything sucks. And it was like that, it was in an instant."
"Now, the ninth pick in the draft has had some success," Rouhier continued. "It's also had some failure. More failure recently than success, but it was so underwhelming. It was just so, 'Of course it went that way.' Terrible night in D.C. sports last night. Terrible."
The Nationals are playing like they found out about the draft lottery.
