Hot Air Balloons
7:30 a.m. | May 31 - June 2
Stand in awe of these majestic and colorful icons of the sky as they float above festival crowds. Not a ride. Subject to wind and weather conditions. Brought to you by SPEEA. (If rained out, the June 1 schedule will shift to June 2.)

Admirals’ Breakfast
7:30-9 a.m. | Location: Hyatt Regency Wichita
This is an RSVP-only event that kicks off for Riverfest 2024. Sponsored by Hyatt Regency Wichita, Legacy Bank and Schaefer Architecture.

Quantum Credit Union Food Court
11 a.m. - 11 p.m. | Century II
Find all your favorite festival food and drinks right here, and some irresistibly weird options, too! On weekdays (Mon–Fri), come for the Business Lunch, 11 AM to 2 PM and get into the food court without a button. And don’t forget to shop the Merchandise Tent on the east end of Kennedy Plaza.

Grand Opening Ceremony
11 a.m. | Century II
Come and join the excitement of the ribbon-cutting as the Food Court opens for Riverfest 2024, hosted by the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce.

Paddle Boats, Kayaks & Canoes
5-8 p.m. | Location: Arkansas River, Boats & Bikes facility at River Vista.
Enjoy a spin on a paddleboat, a kayak or a canoe from the Boats & Bikes facility at River Vista! This is the dock where you’ll embark for the races of these watercraft, too.

Kids’ Corner & Inflatables
5-10 p.m. | Location: Near the South Gate entrance, behind the old downtown library
Bring the family and enjoy inflatables, bubble shows, balloon twisting, and great outdoor family fun! In a new spot this year, by the South Gate entrance, behind the Old Library. All free with a Riverfest button, and no button is required for children 5 and under.

Wagonmaster's River Tour
5-8 p.m.
Cruises depart under the Douglas Street Bridge on the north side of Douglas, east side of the Arkansas River. FREE with your Riverfest button.

WEEE Entertainment Carnival
6-11 p.m. | Location: Lot D, 511 S. Water
Look for the bright lights of the carnival in the parking lot just southeast of the Hyatt Regency Wichita. Ride tickets can be purchased in this area.

First-Aid Station
6-11 p.m. | Location: northwest corner of Douglas and Water Street
This station offers a diaper-changing area and breast-feeding area. Minor first aid needs can be found at this station. Brought to you by UMB Bank.

Star Lumber Sundown Parade
6:30-8 p.m. | Location: Downtown Wichita
Grab front row seating to watch entrants strut their creative stuff with floats, bands, flags, performers, and all your favorite parade traditions. The parade route will offer excellent viewing of the parade entries inspired by this year’s theme, “Discover. Celebrate. Riverfest!” — and the lure of cash prizes! Brought to you by Star Lumber, KEYN 103.7, POWER 93.5, The Buzz, KFH, and KNSS.

Concert featuring Digital Underground
7:30-10:30 p.m. | Location: Walser Auto Campus Kennedy Plaza Stage
Digital Underground, opening night’s hip-hop headliner, may be best known by audiences for their iconic song “The Humpty Dance.” The night will also feature opening acts C&C Music Factory and Tag Team.

Textron Aviation Opening Night Fireworks
10:45 p.m. | Downtown Wichita
Enjoy breathtaking colors and sounds over downtown Wichita, choreographed to a unique musical arrangement. Fireworks will begin directly following the night’s concert. Best viewing will be along the Arkansas River from Maple/Waterman to 1st Street. Brought to you by KEYN 103.7.
