After weeks of practice, preseason tune-ups and speculation, it's finally here: NFL cutdown day.

By 4 p.m. Saturday, every team must trim their roster down to 53 players. Follow along here to know who the Redskins cut, keep, trade for, or sign.

The Redskins will reportedly announce the full list of roster cuts arond 8 or 9 p.m. tonight, but news continues to trickle in, including some updates at linebacker.

Jay Gruden provided some insight into the roster decisions at a charity event Saturday evening.

Surprise guy was Casey Dunn. Jay said they were impressed at what he did at guard and center, so they’ve kept him for now.

At ILB, versatility won out. Vigil can play both spots and call the defense. Spaight can’t. That’s why Zach stayed.

— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 2, 2018

The Redskins have released the full list of roster moves which reduces the team to 53 players. Among those released or waived not previously reported are QB Kevin Hogan, DL Phil Taylor, DL Ondre Pipkins and S Fish Smithson.

LB Martrell Spaight was among the Redskins cuts today, he says via text.

— John Keim (@john_keim) September 1, 2018

FWIW: LB Zach Vigil is on the roster, per source. Had a good summer.

— John Keim (@john_keim) September 1, 2018

We've seen plenty of cuts already today, with several more to come, but UDFA defensive back Danny Johnson may have just confirmed he's staying with the Redskins.

Danny says he's in...as he should be. Kid proved he belonged every day from OTA's to Training Camp https://t.co/BVu2tT5Owu

Yet another offensive lineman turns in his playbook.

Might already be out there for a while. But if not, here you go: Redskins released OL Demetrius Rhaney

— John Keim (@john_keim) September 1, 2018

Confirming @john_keim on Demetrius Rhaney. He has been cut, per source. That makes 22 with he and Bibbs. ILB's still looming.

— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 1, 2018

Big news in the Redskins backfield, as Washington is reportedly cutting Kapri Bibbs.

The #Redskins are cutting RB Kapri Bibbs, source said. They had a logjam there, even with the slew of injuries.

— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) September 1, 2018

Bibbs out. Presumably Perine and Kelley in. Also think this means Marshall is in and headed to IR. https://t.co/FbX7c8tDgh

— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 1, 2018

Another cut in the secondary appears to have occurred, albeit unconfirmed at the moment.

I've seen it floating out there, but never saw it from a reporter. Assuming it's true. He's been on the outside looking in for a looooong time. https://t.co/RrhzguX6au

— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 1, 2018

The team has announced it will reveal all cuts once the 4 p.m. deadline arrives.

#Redskins have also cut OLB Vontae Diggs, per source. Incredible story, but too much ground to make up.

— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 1, 2018

After a string of cuts to the offense, it's the defense's turn to trim a body.

Can confirm @john_keim's report on Cassanova McKinzy. He's a pass rusher with practice squad potential.

— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) September 1, 2018

ICYMI: offensive lineman Tyler Catalina will miss the season after undergoing shoulder surgery, and thus will not be part of the final 53-man roster.

Oh. https://t.co/jZ8SHW9bLi

— Craig Hoffman (@CraigHoffman) August 31, 2018

And, yes, out for the season. Six-month recovery. #Redskins https://t.co/wwFFNLduSc

— Kareem Copeland (@kareemcopeland) August 31, 2018

As of now, the majority of cuts appear to be quite straight-forward, aside from a couple tight position battles such as running back, wide receiver and linebacker.

This is where I’m at, too. So many of them are obvious. https://t.co/2lEUgHdJzp
