
AUSTIN (Talk1370.com) -- Early voting for the 2024 presidential election kicks off on Monday, Oct. 21, and runs through Friday, Nov. 1, ahead of Election Day on Tuesday, Nov. 5.
Texas voters will cast their ballots for president, deciding between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, as well as one of Texas' two U.S. Senate seats, deciding between Ted Cruz and Collin Allred. Voters will also select candidates for each of the state's congressional seats.
At the state levels, voters will decide on races for railroad commissioner, state senators and representatives, members of the State Board of Education, the Texas Supreme Court, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals and the Texas Court of Appeals.
Finally, voters will also decide on a number of county, municipal, and school district races.
Hours for early voting vary by county, particularly in the first week of early voting. In Travis County, voting centers will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday; selected locations will remain open until 10 p.m. on the last two days of early voting. On Election Day, polling places will be open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
