If you’re a Star Wars fan, you know it as May the Fourth be with you, and if you’re an Arrested Development fan, you know it as Cinco de Cuatro – but in the Bishop household, May 4 is known as Jason “Lurch” Bishop’s birthday!
And finally, as Bish celebrated his (age redacted) birthday Thursday, John-Paul Flaim remembered!
“It took me many years to remember his birthday is the day before Cinco de Mayo,” JP said. “That’s not necessarily something I celebrate, but it always gets talked about, so I remember it’s Star Wars Day! May the Fourth be with you!”
Bish was hoping everyone would forget, but since it’s out there, we felt comfortable making him even more uncomfortable – like the story of the year Jason’s mom came in with a cake, and there were dancers…and how the pre-show meeting discussion centered on life insurance?
“I have a life insurance policy that’s about to expire in like a month,” Cakes revealed, “and they were like, ‘oh, you think your policy is gonna stay at $40 a month? Nope, in June, it’s $843 a month!’ And I’m not paying that for sure.”
“Of course, because you’re closer to actually dying!” JP shot back. “When you buy it in your twenties, it’s like free money for them!”
Bish isn’t going to re-up his life insurance when it expires, because he already has his affairs in order with his family it seems, and this is how you know the Junkies are starting to get a little gray around the edges…
Anyway, happy birthday to Jason Bishop, and if you’re an insurance agent, might want to reach out to him and/or Johnny Auville – who has some extra cash after getting a good chunk of his expensive dinner comped last night – to give them some advice!
