Hey DC…let’s get voting and get some Nationals to the 2023 MLB All-Star Game!

Major League Baseball released the first fan voting update for the All-Star Game, listing the Top 10 vote-getters at catcher, DH, and all four infield positions and the Top 20 in the outfield – and the Nationals have just one representative: Joey Meneses, who is seventh in DH voting with 72,441 votes.

One need only to look a short drive up I-95 to see the power of the fan vote: Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman leads the AL voting behind the plate and they have representation in the Top 10 in all four infield positions and two players in the Top 20 in the outfield.

Phase 1 of fan voting ends at noon ET on Thursday, June 22, and until then, you can vote as many as five times per every 24-hour period exclusively at MLB.com, on all 30 MLB club sites, and on the MLB app. Once that phase ends, the top two vote-getters at each position (Top 6 for outfielders) will face off directly in Phase 2 to determine the starters at each position.
