The Junkies gave out some draft grades for the Commanders during Monday’s show, after reacting to the grades others gave Washington coming out of draft weekend.
The consensus was fairly middling for the group, ranging from satisfactory to slightly below.
“If I had to give them a grade, and it’s silly because you just don’t know…some guys can be stars you don’t expect much from, but it was a fine draft for me,” EB said. “B seems a little high, I would probably give a B-.”
Cakes went slightly below that mark.
“Mine is a C. Kind of average,” Cakes said. “But let’s see how they implement them.”
What would have brought the grade up higher? EB would have like to see the Commanders prioritize protecting Sam Howell and improving the offense.
“My only quibble is, maybe get the offensive linemen before you draft the corners,” EB said.
