With a sale agreement of the Commanders now official, what should the very first order of business be for the new ownership group once the changing of owners is complete?
BMitch and Finlay polled their own crew members and the fanbase to gauge some of the best ideas, and one coming from Twitter caught Finlay’s eye.
“They used to have these massive rallies on the road, these road game rallies,” Finlay said. “Saturday night before the game…I’ve been to a lot of these rallies. It was wild.
“That is the exact kind of suggestion I’m thinking of.”
BMitch chipped in by proposing rallies before home games as well, and Finlay was all for it.
“If there was a party every Saturday night before home games,” Finlay said. “Even if it was just in National Harbor, I think people would go to that.”
How about the rest of the show crew?
Jeff: “Fix the speakers in the stadium. That would immediately enhance the gameday experience. Immediately. And it can happen quick.”
Landfill: “Drop the established 1932 shtick surrounding the team logo. You founded the team in Boston. Nobody cares. Just stop.”
