Washington Football Team rookie defensive end Chase Young is a rising star in the NFL and knows how to show respect to those who have been in the league a little longer than him, including Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.

Before Monday afternoon's game between Pittsburgh and Washington, Young came up to Roethlisberger to introduce himself and have a little fun.

Young tried telling Roethlisberger how long he's admired him, when the Steelers quarterback stopped him.

"Don't do it, it makes me feel old, man," Roethlisberger said with mics set up by NFL films.

While walking away, Roethlisberger said, “You know what the problem is? Typically, you think you play in the league a long time, these guys come up, they respect you, they’ve been watching you for a long time. You’re like ‘yeah, you know, take it easy on me out there. I’m old.' But really they want to sack you so they can say they can, so it backfires on you… Stinks,” said Roethlisberger.

Young — who had two tackles, no sacks and one quarterback hit in Washington's upset victory over the previously undefeated Steelers — had a little fun with Big Ben during the game.

“I didn’t’ hit you cause I love you,” said Young.

Pittsburgh head coach Mike Tomlin also had love for Young, telling him they’d have to get a real high draft pick to get someone of his caliber.

“I don’t ever want to lose enough games to get a guy like you,” Tomlin joked.
