The Washington Football Team is now officially the Washington Commanders, and the franchise is embracing both its new name and its classic colors with its new uniforms, which were unveiled shortly after the team name on Wednesday morning.
The Commanders showed off three new uniforms, including their classic burgundy and gold, with “Commanders” written across the top above the numbers. The team also revealed a white uniform with “Washington” written across the front, and an alternate all-black uniform with gold numbers, and a “Commanders” patch on the front just below the left shoulder.

The helmets will have a “W” on the sides, except for the black alternate, which will have a small “W” on the front and the players’ number on the sides.
