
Zoom calls are just a way of life nowadays. In our world where we have a large percentage of remote workers, the Zoom call has replaced the staff meeting that according to the saying "could have been summed up in an email." So who are you looking at when you're on that call?
According to a new survey of remote workers, 59% say while they're on a zoom call they are looking at their coworkers on Zoom calls and 25% admit they're mostly looking at themselves. Women, more than men admit they look at themselves. 32% of women say they do it, versus 19% of men.
PRO TIP: If you're the person talking on the zoom call, don't look at the person that you're talking to on the screen, look directly into camera. It gives the appearance that you are looking the other people on the call, in the eyes! It's not an easy practice to master but it makes for a better call for all that's watching.
We're not always fully dressed. The survey also asked how often we wear PANTS or any other bottoms on those calls. 76% say they always have pants on . . . 21% sometimes don't . . . and 1%
