Greg Street’s We Need 2 Read's $5,000 Christmas Bonus Edition Read-A-Thon

Students across Clayton County are invited to put their reading skills to the test for Greg Street’s We Need 2 Read Read-A-Thon, the Christmas Bonus edition, a high-energy literacy competition offering $5,000 in total prizes, hosted at the Clayton County Library Headquarters on Saturday, December 20th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
This event is presented by Greg Street, Rare Breed MC Atlanta, One Musicfest and the Clayton County Library System, and encourages middle school and high school students to read for six consecutive hours for a chance to win cash prizes and promote the importance of literacy.
Cash Prizes Include:
High School Division
1st Place: $1,500
2nd Place: $1,000
3rd Place: $500
Middle School Division
1st Place: $1,000
2nd Place: $500
3rd Place: $250
The event will be hosted by Greg Street, Rare Breed MC Atlanta and Shakira Brown Rice, bringing together education, entertainment and community engagement in a fun and empowering environment.
