This week on, OPWJS Law and Legal with CK Hoffler, Juandolyn and CK discussed the housing crisis. Hoffler shares that the expired moratorium will leave about 7 million homeless. Everyone will be impacted by this crisis in coming years.
Hoffler says congress can fix this problem. A settlement has been reached, but there is still no justice for the family. Hoffler Suggests be proactive if you are unable to pay your rent/mortgage by seeking an arrangement with your landlord.
In relief efforts Dekalb Co judge offered a 60 day extension for those facing the housing crisis. Voting Rights and Housing Crisis both need to be addressed immediately by Congress. Hoffler shares there is a landlord relief fund.
