CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A Batavia man is facing several felony charges after he allegedly uploaded child pornography to an internet cloud service in the west suburb.
Corey J. McDonald, 23, was charged with eight counts of possession of child pornography, Batavia police said.
In March, officers received a tip from the Internet Crimes Against Children network that a Batavia resident had uploaded “suspected child pornography” to an internet cloud service, police said.
After an investigation, authorities identified McDonald as the alleged suspect and issued a warrant for his arrest, police said.
McDonald turned himself in on Wednesday and is being held at the Kane County Jail, police said.
