Fermilab Welcomes First Baby Bison Of The Year

The Fermilab bison herd welcomed its first baby this season on April 20.

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Spring has sprung at Fermilab.

A baby bison was born Saturday at Fermilab - the first baby born this year.

The bison herd was first established in 1969, by Fermilab's first director, Robert Wilson.

Fermilab is free and open every day from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
