BLOOMINGDALE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A person was killed and several others were wounded in a shooting early Saturday at a hotel in Bloomingdale.
Officers were called at 2:35 a.m. for a report of gunshots on the fifth floor of Indian Lakes Hotel at 250 W. Schick Road, according to a statement from police in the northwest suburb.
People were fleeing the building when the officers arrived, and they found “multiple apparent gunshot victims” inside, police said.

The wounded were taken to hospitals, and one of them later died, according to police, who did not say how many people were shot.
Bloomingdale police are investigating along with the DuPage County Metropolitan Emergency Response and Investigation Team.
