CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- A 17-year-old girl died after being shot in the head Thursday while in a vehicle in Little Village on the West Side.
The teen was shot around 7:45 p.m. in the 4100 block of West 25th Place, Chicago police said.
She was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital and pronounced dead, according to police.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office identified her as Lydia Jimenez of Little Village.
No one is in custody.
