PARK RIDGE, Ill. (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Two people have died after a car crashed into a house in Park Ridge Tuesday morning.
The house is located at 901 Oakton Street and no one was inside at the time of the accident. According to police, a 2007 Honda Sedan was observed by witnesses as traveling southbound on Cumberland approaching Oakton shortly after 11:00 a.m.
There were two occupants in the vehicle and both were pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Honda continued southbound through the intersection and into the home at 901 Oakton, which is located on the south side of the intersection.
The investigation continues.
