
CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Two people were killed and four others were wounded in shootings Tuesday in Chicago.

An off-duty Chicago police officer was fatally shot inside a home near O’Hare International Airport, apparently by another off-duty officer who also lives in the home, according to Chicago police. The shooting happened around 7:15 p.m. in the 8500 block of West Winona Street, authorities said. The officer, 44, who pronounced dead at Lutheran General Hospital.
A man fatally shot in Roseland on the Far South Side early in the afternoon. Antoine Toler, 31, was near a gangway at about 1 p.m. in the 100 block of West 113th Street when at least two people approached and one of them fired shots, police said. He was struck in the head, arm, chest, and buttocks, and was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center.
Four other people were wounded in shootings citywide.
