(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- Two men are accused of selling fentanyl-laced heroin at a Chicago veterans affairs hospital.
Richard Husband, 73, is charged with distribution of a controlled substance, while 71-year-old Wayne Townsend faces a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, the U.S. attorney’s office in Chicago said.
The charges against both men specifically mention fentanyl-laced heroin, which prosecutors say they dealt and possessed at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center last summer.
If convicted, both men face up to 20 years in prison.
The two were arrested Monday. An investigation continues, federal authorities said.
