(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Will he or won’t he?
Chicago mayoral candidate Willie Wilson is slated to make an announcement Tuesday about whether he’ll offer a third gasoline giveaway, following two recent events that put $1.2 million worth of fuel in motorists’ gas tanks.

Wilson’s Twitter page seems to suggest he’s leaning toward another round of freebies. The philanthropist and businessman said the city, county and state haven't done enough to address painful pump prices.
He added: “Soaring gas prices have caused a hardship for too many of our citizens.”
It would be the first gasoline giveaway since Wilson announced April 11 that he’s running for mayor. Incumbent Lori Lightfoot, who’s widely expected to seek a second term, has announced her own plan to offer gas and transit cards to Chicagoans who are struggling with transportation costs.
Ald. Ray Lopez, 15th, has announced he’ll run for mayor. Chicago Congressman reportedly is studying the idea.
