(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — There is a potentially major development in the carjacking in Aurora that left a mother of two critically wounded this past weekend.
It was in the parking lot of a Wendy’s in Aurora where Kim Weibring was shot on Saturday. Her family says she may be paralyzed from the waist down.
Now, Aurora police say Weibring’s red SUV has been recovered. The carjackers who shot her, however, are still out there.

A Go Fund Me page has been set up to help Weibring and her two sons, 6 and 8 years old.
