Burr Ridge police seek drivers in hit-and-run that killed teen boy

(WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Police in southwest suburban Burr Ridge are investigating a fatal hit and run crash that killed a teen boy over the weekend.

The incident happened about 9:20 p.m. Saturday at the
intersection of Route 83 and Central Avenue. Witnesses say two vehicles struck a pedestrian who was walking east bound across Route 83, police said.

The pedestrian, a 16-year-old boy, later died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove.

Two possible suspect vehicles were described; a dark colored Jeep SUV, and a dark colored Toyota SUV.
