CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) – City officials on Monday will address safety concerns on public transportation after another act of violence took place on a CTA Red Line train.
Chicago police said a 25-year-old man was shot and critically wounded on a Red Line train around 63rd Street Tuesday night.

The Chicago Transit Authority temporarily stopped trains between 47th and 95th streets while police investigated. Later Wednesday, Mayor Lori Lightfoot is expected to be joined by CTA and police officials at a news conference on public safety.
