Chicago police seek blue Honda wanted in deadly hit-and-run

CHICAGO (WBBM NEWSRADIO) — Chicago police are searching for a driver involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash in early September in Rogers Park on the North Side.

A Honda sedan was traveling east on Lunt Avenue at Western Avenue and was struck by a motorcycle around 7 p.m. on Sept. 5.

The Honda fled east on Lunt Avenue and the passenger on the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries.

Police described the car as being blue with four doors and possibly a Honda Civic with an orange license plate that could be a dealer plate.

Anyone with information or who spots the car is asked to call 911.
