2 more tornadoes confirmed to have touched down in west suburbs last Friday: NWS

ROMEOVILLE (WBBM NEWSRADIO) - The National Weather Service has confirmed that two tornadoes touched down in St. Charles and Batavia during the big storms last Friday night.

This determination comes after the DuPage County Board announced a disaster declaration after the National Weather Service confirmed a tornado tore through Lombard and Addison with 95 mph winds.

The tornadoes further west had winds of up to 85 mph. Weather will survey more data today if the weather holds.

In Addison, the tornado damaged as many as 25 buildings, businesses and homes.
