Meet Ortega! This 9-year-old, 45-pound basset hound came to PAWS Chicago suffering from an ear infection, painful eyelid condition and dental disease. Ortega received the care she needed at the PAWS Medical Center, and now is ready to find her forever home where she will be pampered just as she deserves.
Ortega's favorite things include naps, treats, affection and walks around the neighborhood to use her powerful nose to take in all of the smells. She will be a great best furry friend for a loving home.

Angels with Tails Winnetka Adoption Event: September 17
PAWS Chicago has teamed up with several other rescue groups to bring nearly 40 of Chicagoland’s homeless animals to the downtown Winnetka for an adoption event on Saturday, September 17 from noon to 4 p.m.
