(WBBM NEWSRADIO) - Voters in DuPage County have a lot more options than people in the rest of the state.

The DuPage County Clerk Jean Kaczmarek says there is not a jurisdiction in the state of Illinois making it easier to vote than DuPage County. The county is the first in the state to allow people to "vote anywhere." There are 269 options. Voters are not limited to their local precinct voting places. There’s no more being turned away if you’re at the wrong polling place.

This was first done for the Primary Election in June. The county clerk said about 13% of people chose to vote outside their home’s precinct then.
