(WBBM NEWSRADIO) -- People can now vote early in all 50 of Chicago’s wards.
So far, almost 4,000 people have voted early in the Feb. 28 municipal election, but things are just getting started. Max Bever, spokesman for the Chicago Board of Elections, said there’s a polling place operating in each ward, in addition to the so-called “Super Site” downtown, 191 N. Clark.
All of the sites are fully accessible to the disabled, and the touch screens are available in 12 languages.
Meantime, voters can also cast their ballot through the mail. The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. Feb. 23, though the board recommends applying before then.
